same trouble here....sounds like the pcv valve. super easy and cheap.
The linkage in the console gets sticky with cokes and coffee spilled on it. Take the console out and clean the linkage good.
i am not sure we can go to Saturn by a car and a car cant leave the ground.but i think it will take 1645 years to get to Saturn by a car.
take it to the shop!
Your forward gears are out in your transmission I recommend you take it to a shop.
You may need another transmission if your Ford Explorer will not drive in reverse. The best way to find out is to take it to a local mechanic.
1. Saturn did not make the LS2 until 2000, you probably meant the SL2 2. If reverse is gone it's probably either the clutch pack or the valve body. Either way, you'll need to take the vehicle to a transmission shop.
Drain the water from the cooling system of your 1992 Saturn. Remove the water hose. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. Take the thermostat out. Reverse the process to install the new thermostat.
You have to take it to a shop because you cant get to it and you need certain tools.
Your 4 wheel drive may be engaged. Take out of 4 wheel drive and put it in reverse. Drive the car in reverse while turning the steering wheel all the way from one side to the other until it disengages.
Low fluid is a possible cause.
Turn 4WD off. Put transmission in reverse and back up a few feet. Return transmission to drive. If this does not work then something is not right and you should probably take it to a shop. check your transmission fluid level. If it's low, then reverse goes out first. If that doesn't do it, you may need to take it to a transmission shop..
