  • There are several reasons a cat's underside can be wet. The cat may have been outside in dew or if it has been raining or even near water. It is a myth that most cats are afraid of water. The cat could also have fallen into the toilet; played in the bath tub if there were a few drops of water. Also the cat could have groomed their underside leaving it feeling wet. If you feel there is just too much wetness then it is wise to take your cat to a vet.
