Possibly a slow leak in one of your air suspension bags or the hoses that run between the compressor (located way down in your engine compartment, in front of the engine.) OR, if you had the air suspension setup replaced with a more traditional coil spring and shocks suspension, the air suspension light will come on unless you cut the appropriate wire from the control computer (located ahead of the glove box under your dash, reachable if you pull out the glove box.)

An alternative that is NOT advised is to remove the fuse that controls the air suspension (assuming you have had coil springs installed.) That is not a good solution as it also disables the variable Power Steering control, and you end up with maxmum power steering boost at all times, way too little resistance to my liking.

Hope that helps. If you HAVE gone over to coil spring suspension and want to know what wire to cut to turn off the air suspension idiot light, email me and I'll try to dig up the info for you. Paul, prhkgh at comcast.net

Why would the air suspension light come on and the airbags do not leak on a 93 Lincoln Town Car?

You should check the air suspension switch, located on the passenger's side of the trunk. If the switch is off, the light will come on, also check the air suspension fuse. If both of these are OK, then the pump could possibly be going out.

What do you do when your dash board reads check air suspension on a 1995 Lincoln?

There is a switch on the right side of the trunk that reads (on /off ) check to be sure that the switch is on. if it is on and the air suspension light still remains on you may need to replace the air bags . that can be costly, however you can choose to replace them with coil springs that work very nicly and the car will handle just as well.
