You did not say what your husband did for a living. If he is a doctor, lawyer, psychiatrist, psychologist then all information he has on his client is confidential and that includes you. Whatever your husband does for a living it's obvious he has clients and he may feel he is breaking her privacy by telling you. How would you like it if you confided in someone as a client and they raced home and told their wife and heaven only knows who else! Maybe because he doesn't want to talk about that to you and it makes him feel uncomfortable. I can't really answer that questoin for you because I'm not him..but it doesn't always mean he's messing around.
