Check your O2 Sensor. Those tend to go out around or about the 100K mile point. This sensor electronically controls the amount of fuel that is sent through the fuel injector during each stroke. As it ages, it may be sending the wrong signal and, thus, injecting too much fuel into your engine during each stroke. Also the cooling system thermostat may be decalibrated and the engine may be running too cold.
