Why my 1982 Corvette will not idle and backfires it has a fully rebuilt engine with 3000miles and has been sitting for 6 months?

timing, bad gasoline, plugged fuel filter, carb out of adjustment
No carb, cross-fire injected. maybe plugged injectors within the throttle body.
if it idles very fast like 1500 rpm , one of the IAC valves in front of throttle bodies has stopped working , easy check by blocking air to small odd shaped hole on top of throttle body , should also be able to hear it and find it using hand to block high pitch air noise.

The Oil filter on a 1994 Corvette 350 LT1 is right under the Drivers sitting area almost. It is hidden between the driveshaft and the Catalytic Converter. It is hard to find, unless you are under the Vette. >^..^

The relay is a dark green color...located in the center console wiring, after you have the console apart, it would be located directly to the right of your right leg if you were sitting in the driver seat...good luck finding a replacement..kinda hard to find.
