shifts normal with normal driving conditions when driving hard transmission stalls.have to ease off gas to go to next gear
yes and yes
In normal Conditions, if the speed limit is 65, it is generally 50. If the speed limit is 55, then the minimum is 40. In Ky the minimum is 45 mph on any parkway or interstate.
55
The temp of my Jeep Grand Cherokee seems to run between 210 to 220 degree whether I am on the freeway or city driving.
Have you checked your muffler???? It's not the muffler, it's a hard mechanical chatter that you feel.
If the engine sounds loud like it's going faster than you really are it could be that you have lost your overdrive gear in the transmission. Once you hit freeway speeds, the automatic overdrive kicks in. If the engine seems to be operating normal, your tachometer might be faulty. Ken
Impossible to answer ! Different engines run at different speeds. It would depend on things like the gear ratio, cylinder timing, engine torque, road conditions etc.
The "2" means that the transmission will only shift up to 2nd gear and will just rev the motor higher the faster you go. The D with a circle means Overdrive. And yes this is what you use for any normal driving.
