It is not so much that you should not eat lobster as it the fact that a lot of seafood contains Mercury which can be harmful to the fetus. Lobster is one of the fish with the lowest mercury content, so if you are going to eat seafood, it is actually on the safe one's to eat. Here is a list of other fish that are LOW in mercury:
