Daytime Running lamp are usually controlled by a separate module. You will have to find the relay or fuses for the headlights and check them. They are usually in the engine compartment fuse box. One fuse\relay usually controls the low beams and another controls the high beams. That is the way Ford does it anyway. If those are good then the switch is probably bad and will have to be replaced.

Pull the end of the turn signal lever out about 1/8th inch. This only works with the lights on. Fog lamps will not work with headlights off.
