"""It would help if your question made grammatical sense. Taking a stab at it anyway: It makes a great deal of sense to compress files that are going to be sent over the internet, to minimize the bandwidth needed to transmit the file. RAR is both fairly common and fairly efficient (it's a bit slower than many other compression algorithms, but generally produces slightly smaller files... this is considered to be a good tradeoff for uses where the file will be compressed only once, but transmitted many times). There are algorithms which are faster and produce smaller files, but they're not as common."""
Speaking of common algorithms, here some research had been done:
http://odzangba.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/gzip-vs-bzip2-vs-lzma/
Compression difference gave me 98K:
>>>
file *
The Big Bang Theory 101.avi.bz2: bzip2 compressed data, block size = 900k
The Big Bang Theory 101.avi.rar: RAR archive data, v1d, os: Unix
ls -l * | awk '{print $5}'

181286224
echo "("`ls -l * | awk '{print $5}' | tr '\n' '-'`"0)/1024"|bc

Just extract one of the .rar files into a folder. You don't need to do anything with all the other .rar files.
No because you need a special torrent program and you need to access the files usually as an .iso or .rar
You don't type it at all. Torrent files, as far as I know, cannot be passworded. The files inside a torrent though, can be passworded using programs such as WinRaR. You can download and use WinRar for free, and then you right-click on your folder, click 'add to (foldername).rar' and it will create a .rar folder for you which can then be passworded.
Torrent files are not the actual material you want to download. They are a sort of "business card" that instructs a BitTorrent client on where to download the actual file.
You can download Midaq Alley from here: http://rapidshare.com/files/290072449/Midaq_Alley.part01.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290072511/Midaq_Alley.part02.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290085287/Midaq_Alley.part03.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290109294/Midaq_Alley.part04.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290110219/Midaq_Alley.part05.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290110556/Midaq_Alley.part06.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290110593/Midaq_Alley.part07.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290124748/Midaq_Alley.part08.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290147540/Midaq_Alley.part09.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290147859/Midaq_Alley.part10.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290148268/Midaq_Alley.part11.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290149139/Midaq_Alley.part12.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290159846/Midaq_Alley.part13.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290186330/Midaq_Alley.part14.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/290186694/Midaq_Alley.part15.rar Enjoy it!

1. Use the rar command. rar e <rar file name>
Extract the files from the RAR, then create the PUP file from the extracted files.
The mpeg is inside the rar file. Use WinRar or 7-zip to extract the files.
Games don't use torrent files.
Information about torrent files can be gathered at many sites where torrent files are shared. These include The Pirate Bay, Bit Torrent, uTorrent, and informational sites like Torrent Freak.
