For those reasons:
1- Prophet Muhammad is considered a model that people should follow in their behaviours.
2- His behaviours explain the commandments given to Muslims from their Lord, giving the perfect way to practise them.
3- His biography gives the reason for the revelation of some verses in the Holy Quran.
4- His biography offers the best ways to deal with other humans whether Muslim or non- Muslim, and shows the perfect way to rule a country and fulfill its needs.
5- In order to know someone better and love him, you should know enough about him.
Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger of Almighty Allah, there will no more prophet going to come to this earth with new message. so, its the duty of Muslim to believe Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger of Allah.
Muhammad died in A.D. 632, and conflicts began in this Muslim community over who should be the caliph, or successor to the Messenger of God. A powerful group of Muslim leaders chose the new leader, but disagreements continued.
If he/she already convinced and believing in Islam religion, then he/she should pronounce the shahada (testimony that no God except one and only one God and that Muhammad is His prophet and messenger). If he/she wants to think to convert to Islam, them he/she should read about prophet Muhammad, Quran, Islam teachings, and Islam morals from authenticated sources and trustful authors. Refer to related questions below.
Not necessarily be a descendant of prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He should be the one elected and accepted by the majority. By this approach, Abou Bakr and his successors ruled Muslims.
Muslim has to follow Quran and Sunnah (sayings and practices of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him). Accordingly he/she should follow Islam teachings. Refer to questions below for more information.
The question:Which Surat in Quran prophet Muhammad wantedMuslims to teach their women? should be:Which Surat in Quran prophet Muhammad did not wantMuslims to teach their women? The rule in any law, constitution, or guides is that the base is "allowance" and the exception is what is forbidden. For example, it could not be said: in which surat in Quran prophet Muhammad allowed eating chicken. The question should be in which surat in Quran Prophet Muhammad did not alloweating chicken. Then the answer would be: No Surat. This means eating chicken is allowed.Based on the above, the answer is that nothing in Quran or in Prophet Muhammad sayings and practices is against teaching women. In addition:* Prophet Muhammad by himself was fixing special days for teaching Muslim Women.* Many Muslim women in the early years of Islam were reference for Muslims for getting information on some Islam practices. * It is not logic that Islam religion, by Quran and Prophet Muhammad sayings, was the first in the world to give women the full rights in having their own properties, making contracts, and working (these rights that were given to women in the west hundreds of years after Islam) while depriving her from the basic life requirement which is learning and studying. Note: name Muhammad could be spelled Muhammed, Mohammad, Mohammed, Mohamad, or Mohamed.
shi'ism believe that the successor of the prophet must be chosen by Allah & is declared by prophet ,not necessarily his descender . As people can not know each other & who is sinless till he lead people in the right path to allah & to the heaven.

The best name for any Muslim is Abdullah, Abdul Rahaman and the like. The Muslims should preferably attach the beloved name of the holy Prophet (SAW) before the name as: Muhammad Abdullah, Muhammad Abu Bakr Siddique etc. The name should be good, having some meaning and associated with Allah Almighty, beloved Prophet (SAW) or his companions (RAU). It has nothing to do with date or time of birth.
you should give the answer to that question yourself: If Prophet Muhammad was still alive would he be satisfied with your own behaviour as a Muslim? if your answer is 'yes', then congratulations!, and try to develop yourself but if it was 'no', then try to make it a 'yes' answer. this question is similar to the question 'when is the Day of Judgement?' Prophet Muhammad's reply was: 'what did you prepare for it?' so, search for what you prepared for the answer of your question.
You can be a true Muslim by good understanding of Islam teachings from Quran (Muslim's holy book) and prophet Muhammad teachings, doing good deeds for the benefit of humanity and needy people, and following the five pillars of Islam.
I will be honest, I don't call anyone Muslims because of a name they have or because they call themselves Muslims or because they speak Arabic. You should all know what the word Muslim means, Muslim means someone that is believing in Allah and his prophet, and believes that there is no God but Allah and there is no prophet after Muhammad. Many who call themselves Muslims, believe there is a prophet after Muhammad pbuh and those who believe things like that are out of Islam or are not Muslims. So I will talk about the Sunni Muslims. Sunni Muslims believe in Allah and his prophet Muhammad and that there is no prophet after Muhammad and no God but Allah. But many actually never pray, never fast, never opened the Quran, but still call themselves Muslims. The Sunni Muslim population is 1.5 billion worldwide, but only 0.5% to 2% are true Sunni Muslims. That is right, there are 15 million true Muslims only and this is what I care about. This is what I will count and I don't care about the ones who call themselves Muslims and never follow Islam. The true Muslim population is 15 million, Just 0.21% of the global population. This is probably the real Muslim population for me.
