most experiment are bassed on extremes and the heat is either room temperature or very hot or below freezing to show extremes. That's my best guess,if I'm wrong sorry

The water turns yellow during the experiment due to the decomposition of the electrolyte. First off, which acid did you use? In my case, i used sulfuric acid. The water turns yellow when some of it starts to decompose. Hope that helped :)

I'd say have a good amount of white paint. Then add a little yellow, orange and brown to the white, not vice versa. Have more brown than yellow, and more yellow than orange. That should probably do it, but you can experiment around a little till you have your desired color.
