Could be a plugged fuel filter, or a plugged air filter, or a plugged catalytic converter.
Plugged fuel filter, plugged air filter, restricted exhaust, plugged catalytic converter.
We had a weak fuel pump on our van. Had it replaced and it worked great after that. You should also consider replacing the fuel filter. I had the same problem with my van and after replacing the fuel filter, the check engine light went off and it's driving like a champ now!
Will it run in park? What about neutral? Is it fuel injected? Have you changed the fuel filter?
