actually there are more joints in the hand & feet that we can voluntarily control(e.g can we move our rib joints like our fingers?).The reason is the fine and skillfull movements that we need to do with our hands and feet.Think of wearing a shirt/writing a letter/kick a ball if you are permitted only to flex & extend your fingers and feet!
Because there also are more bones which means that there have to be more joints. Otherwise you couldn't move your fingers and toes as good as you actually can
Joints are located where two bones come together. There are ball and socket joints, there are hinge joints, there are saddle joints there are pivot joints, there are gliding joints and there are condyloid joints. There are 27 bones in the hand alone so there are more than 27 joints in the hand. There are 39 joints in each arm. There are over 300 joints in the human body. There is not enough room to give you an answer for each joint in the human body.

Fixed joints in humans are located in the skull and pelvis.
The joints in your ankles and wrists are gliding joints. (Holding your forearm steady while your hand is upward and then wave side-to-side with your hand is an example).

Your body needs movable and immovable joints to be able to move, such as your knee joint. Your knee joint helps you run. There also is a hand joint that helps move your hand. Immovable joints shouldn't be moved because it is not neceesary. For further explaination, use google as a source.

When the baseball hits your hand, its energy will be transferred to your hand and arm (and to some extent, the rest of your body and everything its in contact with). This energy will move your hand backwards suddenly. If the joints in your arm are already near their' limits then this transfer of energy may damage the joints. Extending your hand forward prevents this.Read more: Why_is_it_best_to_extend_your_hand_forward_when_catching_a_fast_moving_baseball
Hand and foot/feet.
Yes they are because then they hold all your vitamins and energies that help your body grow, but on the other hand, if you have too many of them, they can weight down your body and cause stress to your joints and other problems like clogged arteries.
Your hand joints ?
Fibrous joints are composed of collagen fibers. Cartilaginous joints, on the other hand, are made of a band of cartilage that binds bones together.
Fixed joints in humans are located in the skull and pelvis.
Your thumb is a saddle joint, and your fingers are hinge joints.
Yes, it depends on what part of your body is restricted and also if it affects your feet. But if it is just a arm cast, learn to drive with your other hand.
