It depends how you look at it really.

hes like Robin Hood.

stole from the rich and gave to the poor but stealing is wrong?

its how you think.

hero easy he stood up for what was right and what he believed in

On the contrary, Ned Kelly did not steal from the rich and give to the poor. He just stole, and he didn't care who he stole from. He certainly didn't give the proceeds to the poor, but kept it for himself. He was a thief and a murderer, yet has been elevated by some misguided people to the status of "hero".

Ned kelly was a wild colonial boy one of the few that lived over 30 he is probably one of the most well known for stealling from the rich and giving to the poor. He killed policemen that stood in his way to try make poor people have a better life

Ned Kelly changed the way that people thought about poor people because back then being poor was considered a sin. He improved the society so it was more just and equal.

Opinions are divided on this. Some people feel that Ned Kelly was only trying to look after his family when he stole from others. However, he murdered at least four people during his bushranging years: murder is not the sign of a good person.

Answer
Because b-rad is fat
Like the unarmed policeman he murdered, and then stealing his fob-watch from his body. When he was captured, he was attempting to derail a train carrying police. His gang was waiting in ambush to kill the survivors. I wish people in Australia would stop hero-worshipping him and see him for what he really was.
Answer
Ned Kelly's murder and violence cannot be said as anything but bad and unpleasant, but you do have to comprehend that Ned Kelly lived in an Australia which was often mean and unfair to colonialists such as Ned and his family.

His early life was disrupted by his fathers often visits by authority.
His father died at an early age and Ned's on-going battles with authority eventually defined the man you now know in history.

Ned Kelly never murdered an unarmed policeman. Constable Fitzpatrick was assalted by Ned's mother (Ellen Kelly) when Fitzpatrick tried to touch Ned's sister Kate. Fitzpatrick was hit with a hammer and he fell drunkenly to the fall, cutting his hand. When asked what happened by a fellow policeman, Fitzpatrick assured them that Ned shot him. Ned wasn't there at the time.
As for the Stringybark Creek murders, all four of the policemen (Fitzpatrick, Kennedy, MacIntire and Lonigon) were heavily armed, and for Ned it was a case of kill or be killed. He was not a cold-blooded killer. He was protecting himself, his friends, his family, and his colony.

*EDIT*
Australia was ruled by the British, and those who settled there were mistreated if they were not part of the Aristocracy.

Ned was driven to his actions by the British, as they persercuted his family and friends. He was not alone in his actions, as there were many others who also were fed up with the harsh British rule.

And Australia was not alone in it's actions, both the America's and the Indian Nationalists rebelled against British rule.

yes Ned Kelly did do good things , He stood up aganst the british, gave to the poor and looked after his family.

There is no evidence to suggest Ned Kelly ever gave his plunder to the poor. This is a myth that is constantly perpetuated. It is true that he did care for his family, but this was about the extent of his 'goodness'.
