London was bombed during World War 2 because the Nazis were attempting to demoralize the city. The country was not attacked because more people lived in the city.

Well, all volcanoes create land, but explosive volcanoes also destroy land. Explosive volcanoes are explosive because they have a lot of gas and pressure inside them, and then the pressure suddenly drops. That's when the volcano starts erupting.

It really depends on what you mean by what is more powerful. Fission is far more destructive in its capabilities, but fusion is less destructive and produces far more energy than fission.
