European colonialism was having a bad effect on Asia. Although as it turned out, Japanese Imperialism had an even worse effect during WW II. But all that is behind us now.
Asia for the asians
To help cultivate the conquered countries of Southeast Asia, etc. Japan promoted the slogan when ousting the French, British, and Dutch. Behind the slogan, was really, "Asia for Japan."
japan is an Asian country, which means the country japan is in Asia, so all Japanese people living in japan are Asian, tourists may be people who aren't asians. so i would say, about 3 quarters of people living in japan are probably asians. hope that helped. thx.
in Asia
All of east Asia and the pacific
No. If you are from the country India (which is in Asia) you are Indian, and if you are from the continent Asia, you are an Asian. Indians are Asians, however.

Asians
Well, Asians are all different. Remember, Asia stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. A lot of countries are in Asia but not all of them are directly related. Non-Asians tend to think of Asians as a single race when applying to Eastern Asians (AKA Asian countries along the Pacific Coast) because they look similar. When you go deep into central Asia, facial features start to dramatically differ and you can distinguish Asians more easily. For example, Indians look somewhat similar to Pakistanis but both of them look way different from Russians. Into the Middle East, which is technically part of Asia, you can separate them from the Easter Asians but deciding where they came from is troubling. Overall, the general misconception is that Asians are only limited to countries along the Pacific Ocean such as China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, etc. when really it applies to all of Asia.
same as everybody....unless your talking about asians in asia....
