The New Testament is the fulfillment of all of the Old Testament prophecies, especially with the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the first 4 books, the Gospels, the rest of the NT is about the church, which could only be possible when John the Baptist preached about the coming of the Messiah, and baptised Christ Himself, the One who brought about the coming age of the church, the Ecclesiastical era. Once Christ was baptized, he ushered in the beginnings of the Church Age, as His followers, the 12 disciples (being a mirror image of the 12 tribes of Israel in the OT) became the Apostles, who all became church leaders, especially the last Apostle and the foremost missionary, Paul, formerly known as Saul of Tarsus. The last book, the book of Revelation, keeps within the church age idea, as there are 7 churches that typify all states of the churches from the days of Christ throughout all of the days of the Apostles, and all those that existed between today and the final death of the last Apostle,. The seven churches named in Revelation range from the good ones to the morally bankrupt ones, to the hollow ones. Revelation is also known for the event in which the children of God, the Christians, are to be caught up in the air, which is known to us as the rapture, though the word was never used in the KJV version of the Bible. This event, the rapture, is the final act of the church age, as once the rapture takes place, the curtain is drawn on the world, and the end of the end times begin with mass hysteria and chaos caused by millions of Christians vanishing in thin air as Enoch and Elijah did in their time.
