They drank lots of beer and Wine. The beer is made out of malted barely, yeast and probably coriander for flavouring. Kids were allowed to drink it as well as adults as the water was so bad. The upper class Egyptians drink the good wine the leftover churned wine is for the lower class Egyptians :( it was very excluding back than) .
