this not true , every one was allowed to study. but the difference was subjects differ, like kshatriya must know the art and science of fight, manipulation , and other thing that a king should know. where brahmans are group of people whose primary purpose is to help the man kind and achieve's the god. they are also the scientist of the ancient India. they discover things and just tell what should an human do for it sake. unfortunately 99% bhraman's forget there real duty and started work for money . that's why hindu religion is in its dark time.
