Drive to your nearest Auto Parts store and have them check your charging system. sounds like your alternator may be going bad. Check to make sure it is charging right. The alternator needs to put out atleast 14 amps to suffice for the engine to run properly. Might have a bad alternator.
The check engine light only comes on if there's a problem with suction (i.e. you filled the gas tank with the car running or left the gas cap open and drove. You can't reset it, you have to unhook the battery. If it comes on again, unhook the battery again. If it comes on a 3rd time, I'd see the dealer.
the battery light means that your battery is being charged properly. so let it light.
Very confusing question. I assume you mean what light comes on when the batteries is defective. If that is the case then the red battery warning or charging system warning light may come on. And then again the light may not come on at all. The light is there to warn you about a problem with the charging system and not necessarily with the battery.
Disconnect the battery cable for about 10 minutes and the light will be reset. If it comes on again after driving, it's a recurring problem and you can get the codes read and hopefully fix the problem. If your engine is running , and the battery light comes on , that indicates that your battery is not being charged
Your battery is not being charged
Battery light usually means alternator not charging. Most common solutions would be be a bad alternator, bad connection, or loose alternator belt. If the battery and alt test ok than check the connections to the alt. You may also have a battery drain (something that is staying on and killing the battery)
Defective alternator or bad wiring.
The battery light comes on when the alternator output voltage is too low or too high. You have a wiring or regulator problem. The battery light comes on when the alternator output voltage is too low or too high. You have a wiring or regulator problem.
First off you posted this in the wrong section. lol Anyway the light usually comes on when the alternator is no longer charging the battery while driving, most likely it means that either the battery has low voltage or your alternator is becoming a little faulty.
