mainly leaving your lights on when the engine is of or leaving the keys in the ignition
your key is probably still in the ignitionA bit more:The clock in my car continues to run even after I turn it off and remove the keys. The car battery is what keeps the clock running, but it uses so little power that there's no danger of it running down your car battery as it would if you left your headlights on.
A bad abs relay would cause this.
Headlights or parking lights are on, or keys are in the ignition
I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible. If you turn off the ignition and remove the key while the headlights are on, then turn off the headlights, the headlights will stay on for 30 seconds and turn off. You can avoid this by turning the lights off before you turn off the car or by switching them on and off again.
Could be an alternator issue.
Put the keys in your pocket.
my uncles 84 fiero only opens with keys. My Fiero has a button on the top right of the gauge cluster that will open the trunk. It has to have a battery or the engine running to do so though.
Fuel pump control relay bad, under the hood
glissando
Most likely cause is a faulty blower motor regulator.
Because the ignition switch is defective. If not, then you may be be "dieseling" - meaning run on of the engine - that is BAD and you have to find out why it is doing that - usually something is misadjusted in the engine's carburetor or fuel injection system (usually a mechanical control)
