Check vacuum hoses and diaphrams under dash and at firewall
Grand Prix's in '93 did not come with superchargers. Supercharged engines were not introduced until the 1997 model year.
It might cause the "check engine" light to come on.
On some, you can get to the back of the light assy and take the bulbs out. If not, the assy has to come off
bad sensor
Most all thermostats are located in the housing where the top radiator hose and the top front of the engine come together.
I know it will feel like you're going to break it, but firmly pull and it will come off. Replace the bulb, snap it back on.
Check the temperature sensor
Nothing, the GTA didn't come out until 1987.

after you order the right parts, there are a few screws that hold the capsule in. make sure you have taken out the bulb and unplugged it. the assembly should come right off.
