The battery seems to be a problem on this vehicle. A recharge could fix the issue but a new battery may be necessary.
I've disconnected the battery. Why won't yours start?
If the battery was dead or disconnected all trouble codes will be erased.
Check your wire from battery to starter, sounds like it may have been pulled loose.
You have a bad battery. Keep that up often enough, and you are going to end up with a bad alternator. Alternator's don't like being operated without a load going to them. Running the engine with either of the battery cables disconnected is not good.
Your Honda Prelude might not start because of a dead battery or an empty gas tank. It may also not start due to a damaged starter or a battery that is disconnected.
Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. Step on brake and try to start vehicle with battery disconnected. Reconnect battery. I stumbled onto this by accident.
the bronco needs to have the ground wire connected from the battery to the body. if you replaced the battery and disconnected that ground it simply won't start.
you could have left the battery disconnected. or maybe you drained the battery, you might have to recharge it
Dead battery? Loose or corroded battery cables? Wire disconnected at top of starter?
You can start a car without a battery if you hook up a jump pack or use jumper camples but it could fry your alternator. It is pointless to charge a car without a battery. When you charge the car you are charging the battery.
If the alternator is not working the battery gets discharged. In most cars a light will show on the dashboard - battery light icon, and this will suggest fault in the battery or alternator. You will need to start the car and check if it is charging the battery, and most garages will do this check for you
I think you've asked this before...The computer has to be reset by the dealer. Sorry bout your luck buddy. Good Luck from now on!!!
