Mine has brand new batteries, and it is a brand new controller. The problem that I am having is with the 2 player mode. Player 1 controller works fine and the green indicator light is only on in the "1" side of the "x". On the player 2 controller, when it says "press start to play", and I press "start", the entire "X" lights up and it will not recognize player 2 at all. What the heck? Thanks in advance, gamers. Oh, yeah, and both controllers are wireless, but both are brand new with fresh new batteries. To turn it off, I just took the battery case out and reinserted it. but I still can't get it to recognize the player 2.
While the Xbox is turned off, plug the power supply into the xbox first. Then plug it into the wall and it should be orange. Turn on the xbox and then the light will change to green.
Bring it to gamestop and get it fixed. It has red ring of death!
Yes the ring around where it shows how many controllers you have will turn red.
Most likely will need sent in for repairs. Call 1-8004MYXBOX
Are you kidding me? This is quite embarassing for you isn't it? Well, anyway... to turn the Xbox 360 on you need to press down on the ring on the front of the Xbox 360. It's just near the disc drive. If it's succesful, the light will flash / spin / turn green.
That maybe because you already synced 2 controllers to the xbox. turn the xbox (and controllers) off and back on, and that should fix the problem
There are two easy ways of turning of your console. One is to press the green circle button on the actual console (the same button that tells you how many controllers you have connected). Another is to hold the home button (the Xbox logo in the center of your controller) for three seconds until a menu pops up asking if you want to turn of your controller or the console itself. In this case, select "Turn Off Console".
a stale green light
it means you can ONLY turn on a green light
first sighn out the player then hold the middle button down until a screen on the right will appear and it says turn off concile. and turn off controler click on turn off controller
Unless there is a sign that specifies "continual turn on red," there is no obligation to make the turn until the light turns green.
RED do not try green it will not turn out as well
