Is a touchpad a input or a output?

A touchpad is an input device. It operates on the same principle as your mouse does, taking your movements or gestures and translating them into a form the computer can understand in order to get work done.

Does the mousepad compatible with all different windows os?

The mousepad is the mat that the mouse goes on top of. I think you may be referring to either a mouse or a laptop touchpad. If the mouse has a USB connector, it should be compatible with all Windows computers which also have USB ports. If you are referring to a touchpad from a laptop, no, they won't work on every other laptop other than one that is the same brand, because the parts are specific.

I have a compaq pressario cq60 and the touchpad wont work on it. Ive already tried reinstalling it and going to mouse but nothing works. How do I turn it on?

when you start your computer, press F10 right away a few times and then you will get to the bios screen. press F9 and then enter. press F10 to exit and press enter. when it restarts, your mouse should work. mine had the same issue and this is how i solved it. email me at admin@ifixnc.com and let me know if it worked.

Why would the touchpad mouse of a laptop computer become sticky and hard to use over time and what can be done about it?

Try F-TIPP. It's a new product designed for people who are irritated by laptop touchpads. http://www.ftipp.com The touchpad mouse interface is often challenged by skin oil, dirt, and food particles. We rarely will wash our hands just to use our computer. If you have the owners manual, check to see if there is a section on cleaning the touchpad. You must be careful about cleaning this device, as it must remain sensitive to the presence of your finger in order to work. A mild soap solution in a damp sponge will probably clean the touchpad without getting water into the case of the laptop. Avoid rubbing alcohol, lighter fluid, or strong detergents, such as Dawn. Do not pour liquid onto the touchpad, and do not rub the touchpad with an abrasive pad.

Touchpad Repair?

So the honeymoon is over, and your touchpad is no longer responding to your touch. Do you go to counseling? Before you call the professionals, you may want to try restoring responsiveness yourself.Function keysTry the easiest fixes first. Try pressing each of your function keys, F1-F12, trying the touchpad in between each function (F7 is the default for many). Depending on what kind of keyboard you have, you may need to hold down the function key (fn) in the bottom left of the keyboard as you try the function keys across the top, i.e., hold down fn and F7 at the same time, then try the pad.External mouseIf you have a USB mouse sitting around, try to plug that in, and restart the computer. If the mouse works, then go to your settings, and see if you can turn on your touchpad. If the touchpad still does not work, at least you have a temporary fix. If you are savvy enough, you may also manually disable/enable the touchpad in BIOS (that script that appears as you boot up). You may tinker with that as you go back and forth between touchpad and external mouse as you try to get something to work.Have you done anything different lately, such as installed a new hard drive? Sometimes things like this can scramble the settings. Grounding issuesNot that simplego ahead and plug in the A/C adapter to the wall. Restart the computer and move your finger in circles on the pad as your system reboots. Unplug the A/C adapter, so you are using the battery. Does it work? Try plugging it in again. Does the touchpad fail again? This happens sometimes. Try placing at least three fingers of your other hand anywhere on the computer. Does it work again? If so, it is because the computer is not properly grounded, probably on the inside. If none of these things work, then you are in for a trip to the computer repair shop or a visit from the geek squad. However, before you spend your bucks, make sure you give the simple free fixes a shot.

How do you open the crafting table in minecraft if right click wont work?

Check in the controls in the options to make sure right click does what is supposed to do, if it is but still is not working, then your mouse may have a dodgy right mouse key.
