more than likely its the fuel pump. common problem
i have not found a blazer or jimmy that gets over15 mpg no matter what ya do to it.
why is my 1997 chev blazer over heating
We replaced the temperature gauge in my 1991 Chevy blazer what is the normal operating temp?
Yes you can, but don't drive over 50 to 55 MPH
Does it turn over? Compression, Fuel, Spark?
fuel problem. make sure you have gas of course, check out your fuel pump, injectors, fuel lines etc.
Ignition switch! Try turning the key to "on" position without starting vehicle. Leave key on for about 10 seconds. Try this twice. I had a 1997 Chevy blazer that was getting no gas or spark. Drove me crazy for three months. pulled fuel pump ,(was working fine). Truck would turn over ,but would not start. It ended up being the ignition switch. My key & tumbler was ok, but the switch in there wasn't. Cost for ignition switch is about 130.00.
Yes, it will swap right over with no problems at all. Its the exact same.
i have to start by pouring gas in throttle body. when i first try to start it truns over and over . replace chrank sensor and ox sensor, senor under dirbib cap. change fuel filter too. can you help with this.
check your regulator. it maybe over charging your battery
did you check your battery and alternator?
There are 2 long torkheaded screws postitioned under hood behind lights. They have rubber caps over them. Unscrew and lift them out this should alow you to remove the lights.
