I have a 1998 KTM 380 and it was doing the same thing and one day it wouldnt start at all and i tested everything ang it was the cdi box
Not likely, sounds like your clutch disc needs rebuilt or replaced.
They had an issue with low oil pressure holding the clutch's in. This allowed the clutch's to slip a very small amount over time requiring the transmission to be rebuilt. If the pressure is increased when it is rebuilt it cures the problem.
The 2002 PT cruiser is equipped with an automatic transmission. The automatic transmission does not have a standard clutch. The transmission will need to be completely rebuilt.
Sounds like your clutch is history. Possible the transmission but I am betting on the clutch. You have to pull both any way if you had the $$ you could replace the tranny with a rebuilt or have that one rebuilt at the same time.
This depends on what you mean by "goes out". If the clutch doesn't grab anymore you will cost to a stop. If the clutch will not release, you will have a hard time stopping.
either the shaft is broken, or the clutch is slipping.
you probably need to have your clutch rebuilt in order for it to grab the belt at a reasonable RMP range.
It means the reverse clutch pack has gone out in your transmission and needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
I have a 2003 iron horse and had starter rebuilt , I'm wondering is there suppose to be a shim , it keeps blowing out my clutch
that is when you "pop" the clutch on the truck to get it started but you have to be going about 5-10 miles an hour before it will work.
If it is a stright stick, then the clutch is sliping. Need to replace clutch and pressure plate and turn fly-wheel. Replace throw out bearing If it is a automatic trans then it's burnt up. NEEDS REBUILT
A T150 is a top loader, so cannot be a linkage problem, but could be a clutch linkage problem. You didn't say if it ground gears, or was just tough to pull into gear. Anyway, check clutch adjustment.
