I have a '05 Tacoma that will not start on occasion.
My son checked it out and found that is was something called a fuel rail.
Simply turning the key back and starting over has so far worked every time.

Sounds like a starter problem. you can have a garage test it for you. Or you can test it yourself. Have you tried to bump start it?
