You have to change the mass flow sensor
Fuel filter for 1995 Chevy Van is located underneath driver's side door at running board.
i replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump relay. the pump runs for 2-3 seconds when key is turned. after cranking for awile, pump runs for 10-15 seconds after key is turned off. sputters a bit when sprayed w/starting fluid. it is probly your fuel injectors. get them tested.
Start with replacing the fuel filter.
If the staling problem only showed up shortly after the core was replaced, the odds are the person doing the repair dislodged or damaged something, probably in the ignition system. Check for loose or damaged wires in the engine area(with car not running) visually and by gently pulling on wires at all connection points and terminals to see if they are loose or broken.
I have a 1990 3.1 and what it turned out to be was the head gasket was leaking now it runs fine
I was told by mechanic who was going to replace the cabin air filter that in fact, there isn't one in the 1999 Lumina. Hope this helps...
If it is missing it is probaly a coil pack
On my Chevy lumina it is located right by the gas take on the right side of the car.
Are you sure you didn't reverse the filter supply and vent lines?
Didn't know there was more than one. The only one I know of is almost dead center underneath the vechial.
most Lumina's have a fuel filter located on a mounting foreward of the right [drivers side] rear strut. It is a canister mounted on the chassis so you can not miss it.
Is this the same on a 97 model Lumina It is right under the air filter box. Take off the diagonal brace and then take off the filter box.
