why wont my 96 Chevy Blazer start it acts like it wants to start i got a new start I've changed the time its like there is still a mist it tries to start but wont i got new plugs wires what could the problem be
If it turns over but does not start,it could very well be a bad fuel pump and/or clogged fuel filter. The fuel filter is under the driver's side door right behind the frame rail under the seat. You WILL get gas on you if you are not really careful when you change it. Being as quiet as possible, turn the key to the start position and listen for a humming sound for a second or two f4rom the back of the vehicle, that means the fuel pump is running. IF you do not hear it, check the fuse block for a fuel pump fuse or circuit breaker.
One more think you can check is for a bad ignition fuse. Under the hood is a large fuse panel and there is a fuse that will say "ignition". check that also.
