I have a 1994 that would stall. The battery cables were corroded. Any number of possibilities: Fuel pump, partially blocked fuel filter, electronic ignition problems, or any electronic component that fails after it's been running. A dead battery.
It could be the spark plug wires that's what was wrong with mine.
The 98 would have R134a
Well for more information on Used Buick Park Avenue you can google or yahoo it. That is what I would do first, then I would read what sites they come up with that looks interesting.
I had a similar problem with my 1992 Buick Park Avenue - it would cut out while driving - After replacing alot of sensors, maf, and coils etc - which did nothing - i found the problem was with the crankshaft position sensor - this is about $22 at autozone - not too hard to replace. Now no problems with cutting out at all. It could also be the timing belt. If the timing belt fails the engine will stop running and the car will not restart until it is replaced. TommyTrouble
Fuel pump pick-up tube porous and sucking air when cornering (fuel level drops below level of tube).
Type your answer here... it might be the module sme yrs ago mine kept doing that and some time i would have to wait awhle for it to start
A repair manual for the 1998 Buick Park Avenue would have a brakes repair diagram. A popular book is the Haynes Repair Manual.
the cars are basically identical but the park avenue is better built with other wanted fetures most standered including leather seats buick park avenues throught 1997 thourgh 2005 the park avenue is about 12" longer than the lesabre i would u buy a park avenue any day over the leasbre both are great cars but for the money the buick park avenue is the way to go .
what will cause a transmission in a 1992 buick lasebre to shrudderas and stall engine
When driving the IAC does not do anything because the car is not at an idle
22 inch rims will fit on a 97 Buick Park Avenue , but they will rub. 20 inch rims would be a better option if you don't your rims to rub.
The 1997-2005 Buick Park Avenue's and Park Avenue Ultra's all use the same bumper cover part number. So I think the bumpers themselves would be interchangeable.
