Why would a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix make a humming noise when driving that stops when making a left hand turn?

It sounds like a wheel bearing is drying out, if you swerve side to side( a little bit) on the highway at 30-50 kliks. you may also hear the hum come and go. When the wheels are turned in a certain position and load is put on it, the noise will go away, I would get this checked out, it might be a little costly, the bearings are seviced as an assembly with a hub, and ABS brakes expect more.
