I just had this problem with my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am. The problem is a short in the "multi-function switch." When I took it to get fixed, they told me that a lot of Pontiac Grand Ams have had this problem, and mine was fixed through warranty. If that is not the problem with your car, check the "signal flasher relay." Hope I helped!
i have 1989 GrandAm Pontiac 2.5 engine misfire when under pressure when driving over 69mph or sitting still accelerating
If there is a clicking noise get it to a mechanic you engine is blown and may be saved. Most likely you'll need a new one because a lifter is broken and it would be cheaper.
Driving at 50mph or above what causes a loud knocking clicking sound during acceleration?
Oil pressure is low or thereis a defective oil pressure switch. You need to pot a pressure gauge on it when it is hot.
Flashing means that the car is misfiring. Driving it like that could damage the catalytic converter.
About 5-10 miles depending on driving. 30-35 from solid light to flashing.
You should not be driving if unable to distinguish yellow from red. If uncertain- treat as red.
Have a similar problem with my forester 1999.
When you drive over a clicking bettle.
A loud clicking sound coming from the front of your car when you are driving straight would be the result of a bad CV joint. This is something that should be checked out right away.
Loose connection somewhere. Bad switch maybe.
I hear a clicking noise coming from my jeep when I hit speeds greater then 50 MPH? any ideas on what can cause this
