If it is the same plug every time, I would say the plug or wire is grounding out some where. Try replacing the plug the the wire.

Replace the spark plugs and plug wires. Replace the distributor cap & rotor. Replace the air & fuel filter.
On the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the catilitic converter. Looks kind of like a spark plug screwed into the pipe.

On my Sidekick Sport (1.8 litre) they are on top of the engine under the coils. There is a plastic cover with 4 bolts you remove, you then remove the bolt from each ignition coil and lift out the coil. You'll need a fairly long socket extension to reach the plugs which are under the coils/boots.
no all you have to do is remove the block covers that cover the coil packs and remove the 8mm bolts and remove the coil packs to gain access to the spark plugs
