∙ 19y agothis happened with my 94 sentra just before the alternator died... i would take it to a parts store and have them test the battery and alternator.
could be a bad alternator or battery
Change the fuel filter.
AnswerIf its not the battery, or alternator. Check your ground wire, down by the starter, to make sure its not loose.
I had the same problem and then my alternator went out. Replaced alternator and haven't had the problem since. Check your belts.
no if your battery light is on and the brake light on then your alternator need to be change
When the alternator goes bad or goes out completely, the car's battery will be drained. I suggest you pull the alternator and have it tested. If the alternator is bad, you will most likely need a new battery as well. The cost is around $200.00.
where is the fuel filter located would like to see a picture , 1990 Nissan Sentra sedan
i paid 218 including alternator and labr. 159 for alternator and 45$ labor+ tax.
98 Nissan sentra only came with ga16de and sr20de, any ve motor would be considered a swap seeing that its a motor made strictly only in japan
That vehicle has 2 belts and both come off the replace the alternator belt. I would guess that they did not tighten up the one that runs the a/c compressor.
No, but it can be replaced. I would recommend taking to a professional.
