I had the same problem with my 98 Buick regal gs and it turned out to be the ignition switch.
Only Ford products have a fuel shut-off switch. GM never used them. 1992 Buick Regal Owner
It's possible if engine is flooding
Could be the ignition module.
maybe line has a hole
you need to just pull the fuse out that says FP in your fuse box.
Perhaps a vacuum leak check power brake booster and check valve at booster
on the right side of the passenger side kick panel and some are in the trunk There's no fuel shut off switch on GM cars, only Ford products
Stuck/faulty fuel pump relay or possibly a faulty ECM.
Check MAF sensor and connector plug at the air cleaner, and fuel pump and relay, if you can get someone there to put a code reader on it you can find out exactly what it is.

On your switch lanes signal stick, on the left side of the wheel,you pull it towards you and the beams will come on. Pull them again and they will shut off.
