Either the vent cap is no longer venting, or the reservoir is overserviced. Just a thought.
You can but then the mixture will turn into gel and your entire coolant system will be ruined. If you continue driving your engine will overheat and your car, destroyed.
The engine coolant reservoir ( which has a 50 / 50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water from the factory ) is located in the engine compartment on the passenger side
In the coolant reservoir when the engine is cool.
if you run your engine without antifreeze your car will overheat and ruin the engine.
vehicle will overheat. just dump the oil and antifreeze , flush engine and refill with clean oil
The engine coolant reservoir is in the engine compartment , on the passenger side , about the middle ( 50 / 50 mix of antifreeze and preferably distilled water , do not exceed 60 % antifreeze )
In a 2003 Ford Focus : The engine coolant reservoir is on the passenger side of the engine compartment ( it has a thread on pressure cap )
The engine is overheating.
If you overfill the reservoir and radiator with antifreeze, it will generally expand as it gets hot and spill out of the reservoir. When it does that, it will usually spill onto the hot engine and create "smoke".
Not the day you change over to water, in fact it should cool slightly better.BUTNot having the corrosion protection included in Antifreeze will cause the system to be damaged and overheat very soon.
Have it checked out soon and don't let the engine overheat!
The engine will overheat and can cause severe engine damage. The engine will be completely ruined if it is not immediately shut off.
