check the wheel cylinder between the shoes. the rubber boots on each end can leak if they are dry rotted. also make sure it is mounted snug. if it is noticable loose the hard line could have cracked leaking fluid. if they are disc brakes the same is similar of the calipers.
Most likely brake fluid. Check the master cylinder level.
No oil leak is normal. I would suspect you have a leaking wheel cylinder or caliber. What you are seeing may be brake fluid. Have this looked at ASAP. Make sure that this not just brake dust and water. If it is an oil leak it most likely is brake fluid, and it needs repaired ASAP.
That sounds like a wheel cylinder leaking brake fluid.
You engine contains coolant, oil, transmission fluid, P/S fluid, brake fluid, gasoline, & windshield washer fluid. Smell of the fluid, and if it has no smell it is not gasoline. If it is not slick to the touch it is not oil, transmission fluid, or P/S fluid. So that leaves brake fluid, or windshield washer fluid. Brake fluid does have a slight smell, and may be slightly slick, if you pay close attention. Look at the area it is coming from and this is a clue to what is leaking. Try laying a piece of white paper under the vehicle and see what it looks like on paper. Color is a clue. You engine contains coolant, oil, transmission fluid, P/S fluid, brake fluid, gasoline, & windshield washer fluid. Smell of the fluid, and if it has no smell it is not gasoline. If it is leaking fluid, call your vet.
There is no safe way to repair a broken or leaking brake line. The line or tubing that is leaking must be replaced or a new piece of tube, spliced into the line with fittings, to replace the leaking area.
It is toward the back about where the drivers right side area would be. However how you get the cap off to add fluid is beyond me. It is too far back to be able to reach in or get a funnel in there. ? ? So how do you add brake fluid on these vans?
By the stains in the area of the leak. If the vehicle had been leaking prior to service, then there will be dirty stains around the area. I there were no leaks prior to service then there will only be fresh fluid in the area.
I would double check the master cylinder tank and lines. Recheck the lines. Make sure to check the splitter blocks. (The area where the lines go to the left and right tires. also called proportioning blocks) If the brake fluid is leaking possibly onto the exhaust somewhere then it might be burning it off before it has a chanceto to drip anywhere else. Just run your fingers physically along the brake lines. If it is a leak then it has got to be there some where. You checked the back of the wheels really well? You could also try getting a uv light and dye and trying to find it that way also.
It may be something else, but transmission fluid is reddish, or should be. Bob in AZ
It is possible to replace the brake fluid in a Honda Accord yourself, however it is recommended that you take it to a professional mechanic unless you have experience in the area.
Is fluid leaking around the dust cover? If you are suspicious, lift the corner of the dust cover and see if the area inside is dry. Usually, if the slave cylinder is leaking you will get quite a bit of fluid on the outside.
