A/C fan not working. * i personally think that its because your ac its making your engine work harder. don't forget your ac compressor goes conected to your crankshaft pulley. so when it engages your engine needs to work harder to keep your car working without any noticeable changes. engine needs to work harder to run a/c, u may need auto idle adjusted to compensate for faster engine speed when a/c is switched on u an usually feel engine bog down a little if this is the case when a/c is switched on a good example of the power needed to run a/c can be experienced by doing the following when out on highway doing the speed limit, with a/c switched on, try to pass another vehicle while going up a hill then do same thing on another hill but as you sart to pass vehicle, switch off a/c. you will noticably see and feel car goa lttle faster
Yes, If vehicle overheats it may cause freon (refrigerant) to blow out
you need to check cooling fans with ac on
they do for the ac they only come on when the engine temp is peaked about 210 deg
No.
Could be bad fan relay?Could be a plugged or restricted radiatorCould be a bad radiator capCould be a bad thermostat
Loose belt - will sound like a screeching noise.
There is only one engine belt, which work for the engine and the AC compressor.
You probably have a bad thermostat. The thermostat controls the flow of coolant throughout the engine. It is controlled by a copper spring that opens up at a certain temperature (hot) to send coolant to the rest of the engine. When the engine is cold it shuts until it gets warm then opens up so the engine doesn't overheat. If your thermostat is closed the engine will over heat. That's the overheating problem. Its only about a ten dollar part and relative easy to fix. As far as the AC goes it might be related to the thermostat or your clutch on the AC pump may be bad.
there is a Senior that kick it the fans on it is located under the throttle body or it might be the primary fan is bad and only the second fan is working
Generally when the engine is hot or the AC is on.
Make sure the connector to the Coolant Sensor is not corroded. If so replace with a new connector
check your fan clutch if its weak it will overheat
