I had a Dodge Intrepid that was leaking fuel from the fuel injection ports, could possibly be the same thing.
As long as the gas can was clean, then that would be ok.As long as the gas can was clean, then that would be ok.
That is normal. That gas would fire if the plug was in.
What would the gas oil mixture be for 1974mercury 7.5 HP outboardmotor?
yes, a mixture of coolant and gas can and will ruin your motor
Horsepower is horsepower, so a 16 hp electric motor could, on the surface, replace a 16 hp gas motor. Things to consider, however, include RPM and torque. Gas engines are inefficient, to replace a 16 hp gas engine it would take only a 8 hp electric. standard closest size would be a 10 hp. I have done this several times on air compressors and hydraulic pumps.
Yes
I'd guess a broken motor mount. Releasing the gas pedal would change the rpm of the engine, so you may be feeling the motor shifting as a jerk.
If they dissolved they would plug up the fuel filter.
A gas motor.
misadjusted or malfunctioning Idle Speed Control ( ISC ) motor
You cannot convert a gas engine to an electric motor. You might install an electric motor in place of an gas engine, but that would be a very difficult job, that I could not provide instructions on and neither could anyone else in the space provided. I suggest you search for an answer on Google, and on other search engines. You cannot convert a gas engine to an electric motor. I would suspect the fuel pump is bad.
