Your question assumes someone would not blow up the world with atomic bombs. That is a fallacy. There are a few humans in this world who would be insane enough to issue enough nuclear bombs in order to destroy the world. They would not be considered "sane rational people" by the rest of the world. Humanity wants to preserve itself. Therefore people are not inclined to "blow up the world". If a poll was taken around the world you would probably learn that people do not want to end the world via nuclear elimination. They want to live and enjoy peace around the world. That is why people would NOT blow up the world with atomic weapons.
The atomic weaponshaveonly been used twice. Both in WWII in 1945 by the USA. They wereused because theplanned invasion of the Japanese mainland by the allieswas calculated to have possibly amillion plusallied casualties.
to kill people
To avoid an invasion of Japan
The concern was that the USSR might retaliate by using atomic bombs on our troops in Korea.
Back in 1945 when the bombs were dropped, people were glad the war had ended and also were with the get back at them mentality since the people were mad at them for attacking Pearl Harbor. Now some people want to changeling history with no purpose at all. the bombs ended the war, saved a lot service members and that is the history.
Many people opposed President Truman's decision to drop the atomic bombs because the Japanese were already on the losing end of the war. However, Truman didn't want to risk the loss of many more American soldiers with an invasion of Japan. So, to put it in layman's terms, he blow'd them up. Twice (First Nagasaki, then Hiroshima).
Instead of the atomic bomb they rather use fire bombs instead because they were sure the atomic bomb will crush the earth crust.
Well, I assume you mean the NUCLEAR bomb, which was used to bomb Japan as they did not want to surrender...
People used to talk about atomic power and atomic bombs, but this is not correct, nuclear is the correct word to use. Why do you want another word? Nuclear means to do with the nucleus. 'Kernel' is another word which means the center of a body but in English we use it for nuts. In German nucleus is 'kern', and they have 'kernkraftwerke' for nuclear engineering, but why use a German word?
Making Japan surrender to end World War 2 was the only pro to the bombing. The main cons are that 135,000 of mostly civilians died as a result, and in particular, the second bomb was probably not even necessary. Lots of second guessing by people not having to live through the war is not really all that helpful, but it is good to reflect upon arguably bad decisions that have been made and to try not to repeat them.
