The thermostat on a1998 Honda Civic is found on the right side of the engine. It is located in the thermostat housing which can be found by following the lower radiator hose.
On the thermostat housing.
Follow the lower radiator hose into the housing, that where the thermostat is.
Follow the lower radiator hose to the back of the engine and you will find the thermostat housing.
There isn't one.
It is in the big water hose on the in side
ask the dudes at Canadian tire
it is by the motor on the bottom radiator hose

Directly behind the distributor, follow your bottom radiator hose right to it. That is the thermostat houseing, the thermostat is inside
at the top of the lower rad hose (in housing)
should be upper hose
in the thermostat housing. my 97 has it locked, I can`t open up.
