there may be a pen or something lodged inside the vent doors, or bad vacuum lines or motor..read up on it everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at the library in the reference section--you can make copies of the necessary information...good luck :)

the ducts can not be hooked up for the vents to work
i only have a 91 but i belive they would work with a vaccuum line. check that first. otherwise, buy a chiltons manual at ur local parts dealer. about 15 to 20 dollars
