on my old 1.2 clio the battery light came on as there was fault with the alternator and it needed replacing. As far as i know the battery light comes on when the battery is not charging or there is a fault with the battery.

It is the wind! There is always something there though. Otherwise, you couldn't hear it.

It depends on the battery charger. Some chargers will detect that they're hooked up backwards and do nothing. More than likely though it will dis-charge the battery pretty quickly, and probably damage it.

change your tranny filter and have it serviced. whatch out though if you never serviced it and your oil is not red, could result in tranny slipping.

If it does nothing you have a loose or corroded battery connection. If it clicks and will not start then the starter may be frozen and or defective. I would also try jump starting it to make sure the battery is good even though it shows full charge.

The Battery is the same! even though it's a different color, it works. Otherwise, nothing is the same.

Check your connections. bad connections can make a battery not charge or not power the phone.

No, you don't ever change battery water. Batteries have hydrochloric acid in them, not water, even though you use water to top them off. Do not mess with the acid in your battery. You should always use distilled water to fill your batteries.

Depending on the circumstances and previous convictions, battery can be both a misdemeanor and a felony. Battery on a Police Officer is most always a felony. Simple Battery, is generally a high grade misdemeanor. If you've been convicted of battery once before, it could be upgraded to a low class felony. Check your states' statues regarding Battery or Assault (though they are technically different, some states fade the meaning).

Realistically no. There will always be people though that believe things like that. Realistically nothing comes from a powerline that is not coming from he planet or the sun.

i suppose, if there has been nothing else in the system. Always check with your doctor though.

It's possible. Not likely to be the battery itself it that happens, though.

User Avatar

It can, though it is unlikely -- the alternator and the voltage regulator would both have to be faulty. A faulty alternator will not charge a battery, though, so it may seem normal until the charge put into the battery at the store runs out.

User Avatar

this could be from a few different things, but since you said it dies whether you drive or not narrows it down a little more. even though the battery is new it may be a faulty battery, theres always the chance of that.but there also may be a loose wire causing your battery to short.

User Avatar

Is it new? if it is it's not the battery. If it's really old your battery most likely is leaking.
