My guess is that the central locking mechanism is going bad. I have a 1989 325 and it is doing the same thing. Check the wiring to the master unit. If the wires are shorting they can start doing strange things. I experienced this while putting in an alarm in my 88 316.
Change the oil... at the dealer they have a device to turn this light off.
Here is one for my 1989 BMW 325i..maybe they will be the same http://dave.maisenhelder.com/bmw/fuse_box1.htm
It would be an optional extra.
BMW recommends that the ATF does not need to be changed in the 320i.
where is the oil dipstick on a bmw 320i petrol engine
Very high (higher than 318i) consuption for 320i's for very little gain. The extra weight in the inline 6 cylinder 320i, means that the extra power it generates is wasted on the extra weight in the engine. So performance figures are very similiar, but fuel consuption for 320i is significantly higher.
I have a 1995 320i and the battery is located in the truck on the passenger side and lift out the plastic tray. The battery is below the plastic tray.
yes
same time
you turn it
You will need to use 5w30 synthetic oil in your BMW e90 320i. The brand name doesn't matter, just as long as it is 5w30 synthetic.
Google.com if your outside the US go to Google.us that way it is in English and then type in US Spec for a 1988 BMW 320I just like that
