I don't see much difference at all. But, to let you know Limewire screwed up my freind's computer, and I haven't had any problems with Frostwire. No, frostwire screwed up my computer and its impossibe to delete!!! It depends on the version of Limewire that you compare to frostwire. Frostwire has many features of Limewire Pro such as full time turbo charged downloads. Limewire has two versions the free version and the paid version with additional features while Frostwire only has a free version. Frostwire has a chat feature which both versions of Limewire lack but Limewire has an instant messenger.
it's quite simple, in three easy steps.. all you do is : 1: have itunes and limewire open together so you can see both of them at the same time. 2: select the songs you'd like on limewire ( to select more than one click one of the songs and press Shift and hold it while you use the arrow selecting down key. ) 3: then hold your mouse down on the song(s) and click and drag it to you iTunes library. and there you go :)
I had this same problem, and it's easy to fix. While in itunes, click edit, then scroll down to preferences, and click on that. When that box opens up, go to the section marked "sharing", and just unclick the little box that says "look for shared music." And this playlist will disappear. See, the playlist wasn't actually yours to begin with-your itunes had found it on someone else's network. I hope this fixes your problem!
You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.
sort of but you wont really get caught if you download like a few once in a while- you will get caught if you download like 50 in a day
yes.
No. Downloads automatically pause while running Netflix.
If you close Firefox during a download, you'll lose it. You can press Ctrl+J to open the downloads window. If the downloads window is open you can close Firefox.
If you are using Mac OS X 10.5 the downloads will be stored in a folder called Downloads. This is the default folder but you can change it to save the download anywhere you want on your system.
Valve's Steam is great for downloading games, while application manufacturers typically make you download direct from their site.
NO. LimeWire Pro means you are paying for the media that you download. So that means it is not illegal. This is because you are technically BUYING the media that you want at home instead of going to the store. If you have NOT paid for LimeWire, however, then it IS illegal. You are stealing the media. Downloading media from LimeWire for free is the same thing as robbing a store's CD's.

This depends on whether you have background downloads enabled. Go to the settings and enable background downloads. Then if you turn the xbox off while downloading it will go in a low power state and finish the download and then turn off.
In the latest version of Firefox (3.5), go to Tools > Options > Main Tab > and under "Downloads", uncheck the box labeled "Show the Downloads window when downloading a file", click ok.
Yes. LimeWire can only share files while it is running.
You will find the completed downloads at: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ Application Data\Google Updater\cache Not sure if this is what you wanted but hope it helps.
KaZaa or KaZaa lite is another good one, but it has no viruses. The only downside is that it takes a while to download and there are a few rouge fake songs, but it downloads full mp3s, videos and moviesand it is completely legal!
