Why would a heater in a 2000 Grand Cherokee blow cold on drivers side but OK on passenger side Thanks?
Why would your 19998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd 5.9 driver heater seat not work when everything seems to be normal?
I would start by checking your fuse box. It will typically be located somewhere under your dashboard, or under the hood. if they stopped working at the same time its probably electrical (fuse, short, etc) if it wasn't the same time it could be unrelated causes. Possibly the thermostat for your heater.
Why would the passenger side dual heat control only blow cold air while the driver side works fine on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
The whole dash and assembly has to come out.comes out in 2 parts. The heater core is located behind the dash.It is pretty involved.I would suggest getting a HAYNES MANUAL for your cherokee.Did my sister's '99 GRAND CHEROKEE and took most of the day.Can be done as long as your'e a decent wrench.Saves a LOT of money. If you need more help,I'll do what I can
What effect will replacing 195 degree thermostat with a 180 degree thermostat on a 1995 jeep grand Cherokee?
2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee you have digital climate controls Blower works in all positions air works and blows cold But heat will not works can not regulate Temp Regardless of what temp you set it at wh?
The temp blend door actuator could be faulty. With engine warmed up and running, open the hood and feel both heater hoses with your hands. If both hoses are hot I would suspect the blend door is not working. If one hose is hot and the other is warm or cold, I would suspect a blocked heater core. Try flushing the heater core. If both hoses are only warm, I would suspect a faulty thermostat.
