Just in front of the firewall on the right front inner fender. Un-plug it.

The firing order for a 2004 dodge Dakota 3.7 is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The number one cylinder is on the front right as you face the engine.
It is the first cylinder on the right side.
4.7 L it is under the front of thr right head. other engines it is in the distributor.
The number 5 cylinder is the third from the front on the right side as facing the engine from the front of the vehicle.
In Dodge Dakota, it usually runs a little bit right of center of the vehicle (passenger side), since the transfer case takes off out of the right (pasenger) side of the transmission. It is on the left on all after 1997, not sure about any before that.
on the bottom of the motor. passenger side right above the oil pan. you can see it from the front passenger tire.
For the 98 it is right behind the front bumper between the driver side headlight and the radiator. Sorry if this doesn't help.
You start at the brake farthest from the master cylinder. right rear, left rear, right front, left front.You start at the brake farthest from the master cylinder. right rear, left rear, right front, left front.
