Nissan designed the seatbelt warning light to flash i think around 7 times. there is also a warning bell with the light, however the bell deactivates once the drivers seatbelt is locked in, where as the light continues the full cycle. Naaman
how much is it going to cost me to replace the back struts on my Nissan maxima
why does fuses keep going out
The kelly blue book of a 2009 Nissan can vary by the model of the vehicle. If you have a Nissan Altima and a Nissan Maxima they are going to be different. You are also going to have to consider in the mileage and features.
Remove the air filter assy and MAF sensor going to the throttle body and you will see.
Hard starting, loss of power, & poor fuel mileage.
WHAT GOING ON WITH IT.........OR BETTER YET...GO TO ADVANCE AUTO.THEY WILL COME OUTSIDE AND TEST IT FOR FREE....................BUDDY MACK
Its going to be the same way you can tell if any other motor is going out. Parts start breaking what seems to be at the same time. Or maybe you can hear a knock or tapping.
Maxima is a excellent car, but before you buy it, ask for Maintenance log book (history) of the car, or take it a certified Mechanic for inspections.
I paid 100 for the part for my 2002 maxima. My mechanic was going to charge me 150 for labor but we looked up the manual and replaced it ourselves for free.99.
My 1996 Nissan Maxima started making weird noises, first it sounded like something was loose. The sounds were coming from the front tire area. I continued to drive the car for while and the noices just got worse. I was driving 50mph and it felt like the tires were going to fall off! I discovered the front L&R Stutts were shot! I had it fixed and now smooth as ever. Not sure if your weird noices are the same as my weird noises.
I've got a '97 Maxima...I believe it's the switch facing the front of the vehicle, essentially on the side of the tranny. It's got three wires going into it. It should be the only thing with wires on the tranny.
You know when the starter on your nissan maxima is going bad when your car doesnt start/ even when someone gives you a boost, all your fuses are fine, and none of them are NOT blown. You know its your starter and NOT alernator when you take another battery from a car thats been driven and their battery is ok and you put it into your car and the car will not start. If its the alternator, then the car would start in that case.
Replace the battery, yours is likely old and weak, wont hold a charge. I havent had the problem re-occur on my 93 Maxima since i replaced mine. Many electrical weirdness problems can be due to a weak battery.
Buckel your seatbelt and it will go off. If it is not going off with your seatbelt buckled, then take it to the dealer for repair.
By wearing your seatbelt. If the alarm is going off when you have your seatbelt on, then take it back to the dealer. It is still under warranty. If you are trying to avoid wearing a seatbelt, then I for sure am not going to help you endanger your life. Seat-belts save lives, and that has been proven over and over again. Only a moron would think otherwise.
The only way to reset the service engine light on a Nissan without going to a mechanic is to remove the battery cables and touch them together. This will reset the system but it will not turn it off forever; it will come back on until you fix the problem.
You need to replace the purge valve and clean all of the hoses. I hope that help
You can take it down to a shop and get it tested, but if you can not afford that, you can take the negative battery cable off of the battery while the vehicle is running. If the vehicle dies, you may have a bad alternator.
You are going to be shocked, but you actually have to remove the ENTIRE back seat in order to get to the rear speakers. Try to use the Nissan speaker adapters plugs so you don't need to cut wires and mess up the electric system, you can get those from eBay or amazon.
follow your top radiator hose down toward the motor .there will be two bolts at the connection and a second hose going toward the center of the motor under those two bolts is where its at
I'm having this problem with my daughters car and somewhere I read.. to try turning the automatic seatbelt motor with a torx wrench just an idea here I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS YET. WE'RE GOING TO TRY THIS AND WIND THE SEATBELT TO THE HEAD POSITION THEN DISCONECT THE SEATBELT MOTOR VIA FUSE OR HARD WIRE the seatbelt motor runs when the car is off and drains the battery I hope this works GOODLUCK
Depending on the year, I'm going to assume 4th gen '95-'99. The GLE should have a chrome grille and a standard Bose speaker system. The GLE should come with an automatic 4-speed, while the SE a manual 5-speed. The SE will also have a body color grille and Bose speakers optional. Depending on the year, engine specs will vary, but most body and accesories will be the same.
Sounds like you may have a vacuum leak- check under the hood and under dash area
The first indication I had was wierd noises coming from the front of the car. If you look in your wheel well and see grease splattered on the inside, that is another clue the joint has been exposed to dirt and road grime. If it is clean, the joint may still be bad, but it is rare to go bad without the boot going bad first.
